The Buyer should have a licensed veterinarian examine the puppy (at the buyers expense) within 72 hours of possession. If the puppy is found to be in poor health a replacement will be given upon returning the puppy within 72 hours. I the puppy was shipped, seven days will be allowed and the cost of shipping will be shared by the Seller and Buyer. If there is a problem and the Buyer decided to keep the puppy, all veterinary bills wil be the responsibilit of the Buyer.
Puppies are guaranteed for 1 year against any congenital/hereditary disorder which would seriously impact the quality of life or would require continual medical treatment throughout the puppies life. With the provision of 2 unassociated veterinarian reports, the Buyer musst return the puppy or the seller must consent to having the puppy put to sleep. A replacement puppy will be given to Buyer. We exclude umbilical hernias from this guarantee, we rarely have these. They are common in the breed and most often the puppy will out grow them, or they can be repaired.
In the event of death of puppy, the Buyer(at Buyers esxpense) must provide the Seller a letter stating cause of death from attending veterinarian along with a copy of autopsy report. If the cause of death is found to be due to a congenital medical condition, a replacement puppy will be arranged.
This guarantee does not cover minor conditions such as hernias, pinched nostrils, hypoglycemia, coccidia, parasites , or gardia.
Seller will in no way be responsible for veterinarian bills for diagnosis, treatment, routine care or any other situation.
The Seller will not be responsible for ailments resulting from obesity, second hand smoke, malnutrition, dehydration, starvation or lack of proper vet care including regular vaccinations.
Seller has done everything possible to produce a healthy, sound puppy in regards to diet, exercise, socialization, and vet care. Puppies must be given follow-up shots in order to have full immunity and also wormed regularly. A premium food must be fed and table scraps are discouraged.
Seller does not guarantee size. Sizes are based on parents and past experience of breeding. Occasionally, a puppy will grow larger than anticipated.
A 3-day Replacement Guarantee for diseases such as Distemper and Parvovinrus. A Veternarian Certificate that includes detailed lab results must be provided to Carlson's Tiny Shih Tzu, verifying diagnosis. Sellers vet will confirm any and all submitted diagnosis. Buyer undertands that Parvo and Distemper are very serious, contagious, illness and agrees to keep puppy out of pet stores, parks , and away from areas that he/she may contact these contagious diseases. The vaccinations given as puppy shots are the beginning of the immunization process, additional shots are necessary to ensure immunity.
Puppy replacement guarantee will absolutely be terminated if the puppy was abused and or does not have up to date health records and vaccinations from a qualified Veterinarian or has been use for breeding purposes.
In rare instances a puppy might expire before the pick up date. Buyer reserves the right to select another pup of equal value. Sell/Breeder reserves the right to replace the buyers expired puppy. The original purchase price will remain the same.
Buyer agrees to annual vet checkups and all proper immunizations and deworming.
Buyer agrees to provide adequate housing, confine animal in house, fenced yard, kennel run or walked on leash, but not restrained on a rope, or tied to a doghouse.
Buyer agrees to find a suitable home for animal in the event care can no longer be provide and not surrender the animal to a animal shelter or the like. Carlson's Tiny Shih Tzu will accept the animal back with no refund.
Failure of purchaser to comply with any of the above conditions will void this contract.
